When Seaneen and Christopher’s first made contact about their wedding they were after a relaxed approach as, in their own words they 'weren't going for the typical big day' which sounded ideal to me! On the morning I was able to spend some time with both as Christopher was getting ready in their own home, with Seaneen only a few streets away at her parents house; their ceremony also only minutes away in St Mary’s Chapel. After their very personal ceremony the autumn sun made a perfectly timed appearance to allow everyone to make the most of the ice-cream van & coffee trailer they'd laid on for their guests. It continued to shine during our pitstop for a few relaxed photos around town on the journey from Creggan to the Walled City Brewery; with Free Derry Corner, The Yellow Yard and Peader O’Donnell’s being Seaneen & Christophers destinations of choice... as well as capturing a few portraits there were plenty of shoots from the in-between moments, which I'll always argue make up as much of the memories of a wedding day as the big moments do... The celebrations were well underway when we all arrived at Walled City Brewery and continued into the evening with their family and friends intent on enjoying the day every bit as much as the happy couple themselves... Before we get to the photos here are some of the kind words Seaneen & Christopher offered in their post-wedding questionnaire... We loved Patrick's laid back approach on the day, at times we didn't even know he was there as he blended into the background seamlessly. It didn't feel like we were being photographed which helped to add to the calmness, especially on the wedding morning. It was exactly what we wanted. We actually received the photos on our honeymoon and were able to relive the day which was really special. Every photo we received tells a story and we smile every time we see them. Family and friends have absolutely loved them. We wouldn't change a thing about the photos. From the communication pre wedding, to the day of and all the in-between it has been perfect. We can't thank Patrick enough for capturing all the special moments on the best day of our lives! Thank you! Such a beautiful, personal celebration! The choice of locations and the intimate moments really shine through. As a jeweler, I appreciate how every detail - from the rings to the ceremony - reflects the couple's love. Patrick’s photos perfectly capture these precious memories.
