It was a privilege to have recently spent an hour in the company of Little Princess Mia & her doting Mum & Dad... even at ten days old it was obvious who was in already in charge...
Taking photos of kids dancing, jumping, crawling and running would be a challenge at the best of times... giving them the freedom of a full sized dance studio to do it in only makes it more-so... but yet taking photos of, while taking part in, a parent & toddlers dance class seemed a good idea!
The classes are Echo Echo's Parent & Toddler Class, which take place on a Saturday afternoon at their Magazine Street Studio; they are lead by Dara, ably assisted by her 'papa' Steve (although she does let him think he's in charge!) Anything else you'd what to know is here http://www.echoechodance.com and https://www.facebook.com/echoechodance - although ask away too.
I have to say it's a fun way to spend an hour - what toddler doesn't a chance to dance! Although it's much more than that, rather that the usual kids doing, parents watching activities everyone big & small gets a chance to join in - being it hand dancing, running, clapping, jumping, and 'hey-ing' with some dancing/movement thrown in for good measure; it's a great confidence builder for the kids, and amazing how quickly the big kids learn to leave their reservations at the door too!!
So here's some photos of the non-blurry photos from one of the classes.
