 Over the last number of years I've been lucky enough to have benefited from the knowledge and experience of some great artists- who combine being genuinely great photographers, and amazing educators including @christopherbarrphotography via belfast exposed , learning to fly workshop with @jay_doherty_photography and @kevinmullinsphotography 's street & wedding business courses..
For quite obvious reasons it looked like 2020 was going to break a good run... That is until I came across @jonaspeterson 's A Greater Story... offered online for the first time... Jonas has been a renowned wedding photographers for the past ten years, who I first heard speak at @wayupnorth a few years ago. I knew the value he puts on the meaning behind photography, the importance of the feelings & emotions a photograph can evoke and the ability of photography to tell a story beyond the obvious. Knowing the course would be a lot more why to rather than how to it seemed a great way to add to my own photography knowledge... The course definitely didn't disappoint, with over six hours of education delivered in an intimate way that negated any of the shortfalls you might fear from an online rather than in person course... I'm looking forward to re-watching a few times over the coming week to eke every bit of learning from it before hopefully getting a chance to put things into practice in 2021...
