City of Derry Rugby 2015 Calendar Photoshoot

Back in November I was lucky enough to get a chance to work with Andrejs Plavins of Inspired Studio, Buncrana, in a photoshoot co-ordinated by the good folks of Wurkhouse. The plan was to head out to the City of Derry Rugby Club early on a Saturday morning and between us get enough shots to fill the remaining pages in the upcoming 2015 Club Calendar - some set up shots of the players from the Senior Teams; as well as some shoots of the kids teams at their weekly training. Luckily any weather based contingencies weren't needed as early morning heavy grey cloud gave way to a lovely low lying winter sun which cast long shadows across the pitches.

After a quick chat Andrejs headed off with the Seniors, whilst I made my way to the catch up with the Junior Teams, before a few extra young members came along to steal the show - and the ball from the Ladies Team!!

As scheduled we were done by lunchtime,  and here's a glimpse of my contributions to the final product.
